Unlike the other rural craft options on offer, metalworking as an option that comprises of several related crafts and training areas. The term 'metalworking' refers to the activity of making things out of metal in a skilful manner. By this, we include blacksmithing, farriery, iron-mongery, welding (all forms of) and architectural fabrication. The main areas of study you will undertake will be in blacksmithing, farriery and welding.

The training was really good and was interested in all the techniques we were shown, really interested in welding now, thought it was cool to use and build things with.
