Harvest Moon Fayre

Poster for the Harvest Moon Fayre 2005REAP delivered Harvest Moon Fayre, the first celebration of its kind in the Peak District, in September 2005. The aim of the festival was to 'Showcase the Living Arts & Crafts of the region' with the view to involving people in a 'Celebration of a Creative Community'. Linking in to this, is the festivals relationship with the land, giving meaning to the Festivals name.

The Harvest Moon; traditionally the brightest Moon of the season by which farmers often brought in the harvest.

By gathering artisans, performers, rural craft workers, farmers, food producers and those inventing their businesses from the special features of the Peak District, we hope to stimulate new ideas for the future of our economy, our district and our communities.
